Paula is a Christian, a nurse, and an educator with over 23 years of bedside experience to help her guide the next generation of nurses, improve curriculum design, and assist in faculty development. Her specialties include acute care nursing with experience in ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Perioperative areas, as well as home health nursing. She loves Jesus and wants to encourage other nurses with the truth of God's Word through this podcast.

With 28 years of nursing experience, I’ve served in diverse settings including pediatrics, 17 years in the emergency room, perioperative services, forensic nursing, camp nursing, and now in a trauma clinic. 

At the heart of my work is a deep passion for people and a profound reverence for God’s creation—particularly the incredible design and function of the human body. This appreciation has been the foundation of my nursing journey. I see each day as an opportunity to honor the Lord through my work, viewing nursing not merely as a profession, but as a sacred calling.
